about
What do you give thanks for?
I’m thankful for the clarity that this year brought. I’m thankful for every single listener and everyone who purchased my album. I’m thankful that music comes through me at all.
I wrote this song for the (virtual) Belize International Yoga Festival 2020, where the theme was ‘Community Revolution: Yoga Evolution’. The festival is an annual fundraising event organized by ROC - Rhythm of Change Belize. They’re a non-profit organization that works to bring yoga and meditation to communities in Belize, and they do some incredible work. Their website is www.yogahealsbelize.com—you should totally check them out and support them in any way you can!

Lyrics:
Look in the mirror, see
Your reflection in the tapestry
Words erase me, me
Paper cuts through the water
for me to feel
My ancestors speak
and my descendants will look to me
We, in the circle, be
We find wisdom in ether
for we to heal
Heal, heal, we heal
We heal
Heal, heal, we heal
We heal
We give thanks for community
We give thanks for the space to feel
We give thanks for the journey to be here healing
We give thanks for our breath (yes, we)
We give thanks for our breath (yes, we)
We give thanks for our breath
Yes, we heal (yes, we)
Heal, heal, we heal
We heal (yes, we)
Heal, heal, we heal
We heal (yes, we)
Heal
(We give thanks for...)
Heal
(We give thanks for...)
We heal, heal
We heal Belize
We heal ourselves
We heal this world
We heal our families
We heal

This is the album that hands down galvanized me into getting off my butt and out of my insecurities, and just start making my own music. It speaks directly to my soul. Feroza Cayetano
I have played this album on loop every since I discovered it. It has everything that I enjoy: harmonies, mantras, soul in her voice and authenticity of the acoustics. I'm so impressed and inspired! Feroza Cayetano
